Mila’s Sweet Guide to Brussels: Chocolate, Waffles and Local Treats
Hi again! Mila here.
If you’re visiting Brussels with a sweet tooth, you’re in the right city.
Every time I explore Brussels, I end up discovering another amazing chocolate shop or waffle stand. Honestly, it’s almost impossible not to.
Belgian Chocolate Heaven
Belgian chocolate is famous around the world, and Brussels is full of beautiful chocolatiers selling handcrafted pralines.
Walking past these shops is dangerous — the smell alone is enough to convince you to step inside.
My tip? Try a few different shops. Each chocolatier has their own signature flavors.
Waffles on the Street
Another Brussels classic is the waffle.
You’ll find street vendors serving warm waffles topped with chocolate, strawberries, or whipped cream. It’s the perfect snack while wandering through the city.
And yes… I usually eat more than one.
Cozy Cafés
After exploring the streets, one of my favorite things to do is relax in a cozy Brussels café.
Order a coffee, maybe a pastry, and watch the city life unfold around you. It’s one of the best ways to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere.
For travelers who want to explore Brussels easily, staying in the city center is the perfect choice.
Mila Hotel Brussels offers a welcoming and centrally located place to stay while you discover the city’s culture, food, and hidden corners.
